研究兴趣,领域:

研究方向:以新发、突发人兽共患病/重大人兽共患传染病跨种传播机制研究以及以流感病毒为主的呼吸道传染病等致病机制研究。

1.首次明析了我国野生动物携带流感病毒等重要病原体的病原生态学特点,为重要疫病综合防控提供科学依据;获得了野生动物特有毒株,为跨种传播的理论探索和疫苗研发提供了稀缺资源

2.率先建立了多种动物模型,解析了动物流感病毒的感染与跨种传播机制,为其预报预警与防控提供了理论支撑

3.率先开展以湖北省为中心,周边省份及重要野生动物栖息地的野生动物为研究目标,进行与人类密切接触的野生动物携带新型冠状病毒/其他病原题本底调查研究。

4.首次开展穿山甲,刺猬,食蟹猴,金黄地鼠等对新型冠状病毒的感染模型及感染机制的研究。

5.利用世界前沿技术开展新型基因工程疫苗研究,为重要疫病防控提供物质储备和技术支撑。
